This award will support teaching children and young adults about the rule of law and democracy in America. This project will implement and enhance local and state law-related education programs. Street Law, Inc. is one of five partners who comprise OJJDP's National Law-Related Education Program.


Street Law, Inc. will provide materials, training and technical assistance in Law-Related Education to schools, community groups and juvenile justice systems in 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. The overall goal of the program is to teach young people about the law so that they can lead their lives within the law and become active, productive citizens.
