Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2003, $256,000)
As one of seven national partners, the American Bar Association (ABA) will support the goals of OJJDP's National Law-Related Education Program through enhancing civic education and addressing juvenile delinquency through high-quality law-related education (LRE) programs. The ABA's role in the project includes leadership development through sponsorship of conferences, development of publications to inform existing and recruit new LRE practitioners, information dissemination through a national resource center, the creation of innovative programs, and mobilization of leadership support for Youth For Justice goals.
