Project Summary for 2003-MC-CX-K001
Using OJJDP funds, the City of San Jose, San Jose Police Department will engage in ICAC Task Force operations as a full-time investigative response that utilizes a multi-disciplinary, multi-jurisdictional, task force model composed of representatives from federal local law enforcement, prosecution, social services, medical and corrections professionals.
Specific activities include but are not limited to: 1) the investigation and prosecution of child sexual exploitation crimes; 2) the acquisition of advanced training and specialized equipment for Task Force members; 3) the continuation of ongoing national undercover operations; 4) operation of an online case management system; and 5) administration of ICAC Regional Task Force Board of Directors activities.
