Washington Community Arts will provide visual, performing and literary arts instruction taught by working artists to at risk and low income youth in Washington, PA. Additionally,Washington Community Arts will partner with local human service agencies to provide art therapy to children with mental health and mental retardation issues. The goals and objectives of the program will be to develop a cultural awareness and appreciation of the arts in an adolescent population. The performance measures will include the amount of knowledge youth gain from the about arts.
