CHE Residential Care Consortium (RCC) will work in seven locations to gather data to inform effective methods of assisting at risk youth who are aging out of the juvenile system. RCC programs will provide these educational services to young people, 1) money management skills, 2) employment skills, 3) personal transportation, 4) personal and familial relationships, 5) advanced interpersonal skills, 6) community resources, 7) continuing education goals, 8) learning to live within their resources. Transitional living counseling and case management services will assist and monitor each youth as they set and attain their individual goals, transitioning from the treatment setting back into the community.The outcomes anticipated for this project is reduced delinquent and criminal arrests, increased number of youth who obtain employment and attain high school graduation status.
