Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2003, $198,700)

The Family Network Partnership, a community-based program of the University of Southern Mississippi School of Social Work, will use grant funds to provide delinquency prevention services to at-risk youth in two low-income communities in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. These services include a broad range of after-school activities in the areas of academics, recreation, the arts, and youth enterprise. Supportive casework will also be provided to a limited number of families in need of such services.
