JUVENILE JUSTICE AND DELINQUENCY PREVENTION CONGRESSIONAL EARMARK PROGRAMS

Using OJJDP funds, the Good Knight Child Empowerment Network will expand its existing national program. The organization will seek advice from the Governor's Office in each state as to which geographic areas have the greatest need and/or services. Those organizations demonstrating interest in participating in the program will be required to complete and submit to Good Knight a background information sheet. Good Knight will review the organization's commitment and need prior to distributing the kit and curriculum guide. Organizations receving the program will be required to complete and return data on the number of children served as well as completed evaluations reflecting the children's reception to the program. Good Knight plans to distribute 38,359 kits nationally both in Spanish and English.
