The goal of the Enforcing Underage Drinking Programs (EUDL) is to support and enhance State efforts, in cooperation with local jurisdictions, to enforce laws prohibiting the sale of alcoholic beverages to, or the consumption of alcoholic beverages by, minors. For the purposes of this program, minors are defined as individuals under 21 years of age.

Under the program, activities funded may include: 1) Statewide task forces of State and local law enforcement and prosecutorial agencies to target establishments suspected of a pattern of violations of State laws governing the sale and consumption of alcohol by minors; 2) Public advertising programs to educate establishments about statutory prohibitions and sanctions; and 3) Innovative programs to prevent and combat underage drinking.
