PROJECT SUMMARY FOR 2001-JN-FX-0009

This proposed is for continued funding of the activities of the Crimes Against Children Research Center at the University of New Hampshire. Activities under this phase will consist of the following projects: (1) Secondary Analysis of NISMART-2 Data; - Analysis will be conducted of data collected as part of the 2nd National Incidence Study of Missing, Abducted, Runaway and Thrownaway Children to look at issues of risk factors, police involvement and methodological matters not contemplated under the orginal NISMART contract; (2) Victim Service Experience with Youth Internet Victimization - This project will look at the encounters and training needs that professionals working in the victim service sector have in regard to youth internet victimization; and (3) Continuation of National Evaluation of Children's Advocacy Centers - this continuation will allow for the analysis of prospective data collected from the participating sites to examine the impact of CACs on children and families, and the legal and social service system.
