COSMOS Corporation will complete the national impact evaluation of OJJDP's Comprehensive Gang Model: An Enhanced School/Community Approach to Reducing Youth Gang Crime. The impact assessment phase of the evlaution (years 3 and 4) will feature: 1)the development of individual grantee program logic models specifying immediate, intermediate, and long-range outcome measures; 2)an articulation of case studies that focus on the sites' continuing efforts to develop collaborative capacity to implement the Gang-Free School adaptation of the Comprehensive Gang Model; 3) implementation of data collection activities designed to capture both process and impact outcomes, and 4)cross-site statistical analysis of impact outcomes and development of a final impact evaluation report. Project deliverables will include individual case studies describing each demonstration site's collaborative capacity, detailed site-specific logic models identifying both short and long term outcomes, and interim and final evaluation reports summerizing the process and impact findings.
