FY 2003 OJJDP DISCRETIONARY CONTINUATION PROGRAMS - CHILD PROTECTION

Using OJJDP funds, the Ct State Police will:
1. Promote awareness in the community and to other law enforcement agencies, of the dangers to children associated with the Internet and to provide solutions to the community to help prevent children from becoming victims.
2. Offer free presentations to community organizations promoting safety while on the Internet.
3. Continue recruiting efforts to expand the multi-agency and jurisdiction task force. and
4. Provide training an technology to the task force to assist in meeting the project's goals.
