The mission of the Safe Start Program Site project is to prevent and reduce the impact of family and community violence on young children, primarily from birth to six years of age through the development and implementation of protocols for collaborative programming and front-line service integration, expansion and/or development of proven and/or promising programs, and improved identification and referral of children exposed.
