PROJECT SUMMARY FOR GRANT 2000-DR-FX-0002
Provide community coalitions with a manual and training that will help them develop research-based strategies to reduce substance abuse among youth and, other time, among adults, by addressing the factors in a community that serves to increase the risk of substance abuse and factors that serve to minimize the risk of substance abuse.
Strengthen community collaboration and organization by providing fledging coalitions with the strategies, information, resources, and training to build community capacity.
