SUMMARY DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT ( 1999-JW-VS-K002 (S-2)

This award provides funds to operate the National Center for Children Exposed to Violence (NCCEV). NCCEV is a resource center and clearinghouse for the issue of children's exposure to violence. The primary purposes of the project are to increase national awareness of the consequences of exposure to violence on children and families, disseminate information on best practices and research, and provide technical support to existing and developing Child Development-Community Policing Programs.
