Project Summary for 1999-JN-FX-K002 S-4
The National Juvenile Justice Data Analysis Project (NJJDAP) functions as a national statistical analysis center for OJJDP. It is designed to take advantage of existing data systems to address information needs in the juvenile justice community. The grantee, National Center for Juvenile Justice, coordinates the expertise of in-house staff and a pool of consultants with experience in a wide range of content areas and knowledge of many national and subnational data systems. NCJJ also surveys the field routinely to find other data systems that can be used to address questions and issues of the juvenile justice community. Primary products for the coming funding period will be the 2004 National Report on Juvenile Offenders and Victims, updates and revisions to the OJJDP Statistical Briefing Book and the annual Juvenile Arrests Bulletins.
