To achieve the two goals of reducing substance abuse among youth and strengthening community antidrug coalitions, this coalition will implement the following strategies: 1) making Youth to Youth programming available throughout the Monterey Peninsula; and 2) expanding and strengthening collaboration among governmental, community, private nonprofit, educational, and law enforcement organizations and other sectors of the community to support coalition efforts to prevent and reduce substance abuse among youth.
