The purpose of this supplemental funding request is to continue the Responding to Missing and Exploited Children Training Program and to provide collaborative support by FVTC to OJJDP by:
1) providing training to improve the skills, knowledge, and capabilities of law enforcement practitioners;
2) providing technical assistance to the OJJDP Child Protection Division in support of their broad objectives to improve the national protective response to the problems of missing and abducted children and their families;
3) coordinating all program activities with other related grantees to assure that a unity of mission is accomplished and that all resources are maximized.
