The purpose of the National Resource Center and Clearinghouse (NRCC) is to help prevent child abduction and sexual exploitation; find missing children; and provide technical assistance/training to victims of child abduction and sexual exploitation, their families, and the professionals who serve them per the Missing Children+s Assistance Act (MCAA) 42 U.S.C. ºº 5771 et seq. The population served includes, but is not limited to, families; law-enforcement, court-system, social-service, childcare professionals; prosecutors; nonprofit-community agencies, and lawmakers.

This project has three major purposes related to missing and exploited children issues: 1) continue the Title IV functions, services, and activities of the national resource center and the clearinghouse; 2) continue the Cyber Tipline operations and provide training and technical assistance activities related to Internet Crimes Against Children; 3) continue the training and technical assistance activities of the Jimmy Rice Law Enforcement Training Center; and 4) continue coordination with OJJDP on publications, media, and special events.
