The Juvenile Justice Evaluation Center (JJEC) was created in the Justice Research and Statistics Association (JRSA) to assist OJJDP in its efforts to build juvenile justice evaluation capacity in the states, particularly with regard to OJJDP formula and block grant programs. Activities will include training both on-site and on-line, technical assistance, the maintenance of evaluation WebSite, publications, and the funding of projects to develop partnerships between Statistical Analysis Centers and juvenile justice agencies. Specific activities and content will be determined in part by feedback received from juvenile justice specialists and SAG members as a result of ongoing training and technical assistance activities.
