PROJECT SUMMARY FOR 98-JN-FX-0069 (S-3)
Southern Oregon Drug Coalition (SODA), in concert with its community partners, will continue its programming which include spons without protective factors. Indicated services, e.g., Project Dove, are directed toward middle school-aged boys who present with multiple, servere risk factors, an absence of protective factors, and asset deficiencies. oring healthy and viable drug-free recreational alternatives for youth, convening drug prevention training workshops for teachers, providing informational packets to the medical community, providing Drugs in the Workplace seminars to employers, working toward effective drug legislation locally and statewide, and engaging in fundraising activities. Targeted strategies (after-school programming) are directed toward elementary and middle school youth who are without protective factors.
