Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2024, $501,792)

The North Florida ICAC Task Force covers the northernmost 38 counties of Florida and the US Virgin Islands (this area is serviced by Homeland Security Investigations). The regional population is approximately 5.7 million. The purpose of the Task Force is to enhance the capacity and effective response amongst law enforcement agencies who respond to online child victimization and child sexual abuse material investigations. Project activities include maintaining and expanding state and regional ICAC task forces, utilizing current training, best practices and technological resources to prevent, interdict, and investigate ICAC offenses. The ICAC Task Force will serve as a financial and technical resource, respond to agency referrals, engage in law enforcement and community outreach and effectively prosecute cases at the local, state, and federal levels.
