Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2024, $538,427)

The Arizona Internet Crimes Against Children (AZICAC) Task Force will continue to maintain, expand, and improve the AZICAC Task Force’s effectiveness in preventing, interdicting, investigating, and prosecuting Internet crimes against children and technology-facilitated child exploitation. Through this funding, the AZICAC Task Force will conduct proactive and reactive investigations, provide training and technical assistance to other law enforcement agencies, and increase the number of investigations and prosecutions of Internet crimes committed against children in Arizona. The AZICAC Task Force will continue operating existing multi-agency responses to Internet crimes against children offenses, participate in the Department of Justice’s Project Safe Childhood initiative, develop and deliver Internet crimes against children public awareness and prevention programs, and participate in other activities that will enhance investigations and prosecutions of Internet crimes against children.
