Supporting Tribal Youth Through Hope and Restoration

The American Probation and Parole Association in partnership with the National Criminal Justice Training Center proposes to develop and implement a Training and Technical Assistance program to improve the Tribal Youth Notification System regarding justice – involved American Indian/Alaska Native youth. The Training and Technical Assistance program will be developed using the recently released National Standards for Community Supervision and the 10 Core Principle of Juvenile Probation as a guide to ensure the Tribal Youth Notification System is in line with these new standards and principles.
