PREA Demonstration Program: Implementing the Juvenile Facility Standards

The Nevada Division of Children and Family Services proposes a partnership with The Moss Group to assist the agency in addressing underlying factors that contribute to difficulty complying with Prison Rape Elimination Act Standard 115.313, specifically the staffing ratio requirement for juvenile facilities. In order to address these difficulties, the agency proposes a comprehensive approach that looks at security staff hiring and placement through training, placement, and retention.
