Solano County Probation's "Today's Future Sound" Project will provide youth in and out of custody a 12-week workshop with therapeutic and social interventions through music. The County of Solano proposes to serve justice-involved youth via Solano County Probation’s Therapeutic Beat Making Arts Program. The Program will develop and implement effective, culturally relevant interventions that provide access to high-quality, therapeutic arts programs. Services will include piloting two Therapeutic Beat Making workshops to promote personal development, reduce anxiety, and support justice-involved youth’s capacity to initiate and motivate individual change.
