Break Every Chain Resource Center

Maggie’s Outreach Community Economic Development Center will implement the Break Every Chain Resource Center to strengthen the community-based Second Chance Youth Reentry Program. The program serves 60 youth annually in Hoke and Scotland Counties in North Carolina. The program will provide collaborative case management, multidisciplinary, family/community, trauma-informed, and best-practice reentry services. Expected outcomes include: strengthening youth reentry, reducing recidivism rate by providing comprehensive support service to address the factors that contributed to criminal behavior; increasing educational and employment opportunities and stabilizing housing by providing support in securing stable housing arrangement to reduce homelessness of justice involved youth.
