Award Information
Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2024, $560,080)
The Multnomah Education Service District proposes an expansion of the Bridges model and centers the needs of at-risk and justice-involved girls through HerPath programming. HerPath builds on Bridges’ culturally responsive and trauma-informed education advocacy, youth mentorship, and wraparound support model that serves justice-involved youth in Oregon. Using culturally specific transition specialists and educational mentors, HerPath builds on relationships with the Multnomah County Juvenile Department, community-based organizations, and local school districts to provide evidence-based and gender- and culturally specific programming that addresses the needs of girls.
