The County of McLean will implement a Family Treatment Court to address the need locally and potentially serve as a model for developing Family Treatment Courts across the State of Illinois. The goal of this project is to fully implement the Family Treatment Court as designed in the past planning year and according to best practice standards. Primary activities include funding the coordinator position, providing training for the multidisciplinary team, implementing a standardized clinical assessment tool, securing a certified Peer Recovery Support Specialist, contracting with a program evaluator and cloud database service, instituting frequent, random drug testing, and providing incentives, services, and prosocial activities for families.
