Ripples of HOPE

The Richmond County District Attorney’s Office in partnership with the Staten Island YMCA Counseling Service will reconvene the Staten Island Fentanyl and Overdose Task Force and sustain the “Ripples of HOPE” initiative. The Task Force brings together community leaders in law enforcement, government, health care, treatment and recovery, education, and, crucially, those Staten Islanders battling addiction illness and their families, to address the consequences of fentanyl and opioid use on Staten Island. Ripples of HOPE links opioid and substance affected youth in Staten Island, NY with supportive community-based counseling services to improve health outcomes in the target population. The Ripples of HOPE program will address the impact of the opioid epidemic on children, youth, and families.
