Award Information
Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2024, $730,000)
The Albany County Court Supervised Treatment Program (ACCSTP) is designed to meaningfully advance equity and remove barriers to service access and opportunities for the rural community of Albany County, particularly for economically disadvantaged individuals and those who face persistent poverty. ACCSTP seeks to expand juvenile treatment services, including screening, assessment, case management, recovery support services, and program coordination through a coordinated, multisystem approach combined with judicial oversight authority to reduce recidivism and substance abuse. The program enhancement would also improve access and availability of adolescent substance use disorder services, increase the number of individuals served, and/or propose enhancements to improve the quality of treatment services by maintaining evidence-based treatment approaches or adding new treatment services to address unmet needs or emerging trends.
