The Commonwealth System of Higher Education’s Lewis Katz School of Medicine Center for Urban Bioethics is expanding its Philadelphia Healthy and Safe Schools (PHASeS) Program to include two additional kindergarten through grade 8 schools in North Philadelphia, serving 600 more students. This $1.5 million, four-year project starting July 1, 2024, aims to provide direct behavioral health support, fostering safe and nurturing environments to enhance the mental health and development of children and teens.
