Metro Police Athletic League Prevention Program

The Metro Police Athletic League Prevention Program offers recreational and educational activities for at-risk children and youth. This award will fund field trips, equipment, and liability insurance. The program aims to implement a mentoring component within its established Boxing Program, enhancing educational opportunities and dropout prevention strategies for participants. Expected outcomes include increased understanding of safe relationships, good sportsmanship, teamwork, respect, and community engagement among approximately 100 youth.
