Wraparound Care for Child Victims

Child Advocates of Fort Bend provides vital advocacy and treatment services in Fort Bend County, Texas, supporting child victims of abuse or neglect and their families. The project, Wraparound Care for Child Victims of Abuse, aims to mitigate trauma's impact, facilitating healing and restoration. The initiative expands across their Children’s Advocacy Center, Court Appointed Special Advocate, and Community Engagement Programs, enhancing services by 10% and implementing 18 wrap-around services for children and families involved with Child Protective Services in Fort Bend County. Through comprehensive efforts including forensic interviews, therapy, court advocacy, and community education, they strive for significant outcomes such as a 50% reduction in trauma symptoms and improved school retention and graduation rates.
