Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2023, $1,250,000)
Fox Valley Technical College (FVTC) will provide program support to OJJDP; the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task forces; the ICAC national training providers; and other federal, state, and local law enforcement officials partnering with the ICAC Task Force Program. To accomplish this goal, FVTC will build upon its demonstrated capabilities as the grant incumbent, its established infrastructure, and its network of subject matter experts and partners to deliver high-quality, cost-effective national training and technical assistance. FVTC will continue its delivery of services under the ICAC Program Support program through four major objectives: (1) support the ICAC national training event, commanders’ meetings, and implementation of the National Strategy for Child Exploitation Prevention and Interdiction; (2) monitor consumer feedback (to continue to maintain a uniform, systematic evaluation process that enables FVTC to assess user satisfaction with services through the collection, analysis, and reporting on technical assistance data from initial request to delivery and report to OJJDP); (3) manage a training and technical assistance website (to maintain, expand, and update the ICAC Task Force Program website as well as receive and track online requests for training and technical assistance); and (4) develop special projects (as directed by OJJDP to address the needs of the ICAC Program, OJJDP, and other key stakeholders). FVTC will receive input and direction from OJJDP on technical assistance topics, publications, manuals, training conferences, and other substantive issues and deliverables.
