The prevalence of substance use disorders (SUDs) are increasing in Barron County. The Barron County Family Recovery Court (FRC) has served over 44 adults and 55 youth within the community to provide treatment and accountability to parents with substance use and co-occurring disorders. The OJJDP Enhancement Grant will allow Barron County to improve the FRC’s ability to treat substance use disorders and mental health disorders for children and families, and formally engage pregnant individuals and caregivers. It will also enhance data collection processes and evaluation methods to support the FRC in improving outcomes for children, parents, families, and pregnant individuals.
