Reentry services for youth involved in the criminal justice system.

ACTION, Inc. will implement the Achieving Career Excellence Program for a 36-county region in north and central Georgia in partnership with the Georgia Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ). Services begin prior to release and continue for a minimum of 12 months post-release or until each participant fully achieves their reentry goals. Pre-release services will focus on employment coaching and mentored support for older youth who have earned a high school diploma or equivalent, and for youth still in high school, services will focus on education coaching and mentored support. Following release, services include career coaching, mentored support, case management services, and other reentry support services.
