Restructuring Juvenile Recovery Court

The Superior Court of California, County of Orange, proposes to improve the juvenile drug treatment court operations, collect insightful program data, and improve the treatment service quality and outcomes for youth with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders. Project activities include hiring a consultant to update Juvenile Recovery Court (JRC) program design, operations, and policies/procedures; purchasing and implementing a data management system; and building the expertise of JRC staff and stakeholders through education and technical assistance. The comprehensive approach to enhance the existing JRC program will provide benefits to participants, staff, and the treatment court team.
