Enough Is Enough® (EIE) will respond to supporting ongoing law enforcement efforts further enhancing the capacity of criminal justice professionals within the pilot region to engage parents, caregivers, and the community in partnering to prevent all forms of Internet exploitation and predation, including cases of child sex trafficking. This will take the form of a pilot program initiated in Columbia and Charleston. This ensures maximum impact and will create a program that is scalable statewide. The goal of the will be to enhance the capacity of criminal justice professionals and the communities they serve to prevent and respond to threats related to internet safety, specifically online exploitation. The two objectives are: 1) develop and deploy a training and technical assistance program for use by law enforcement agencies and parent focused NGOs, as well as being available directly to community members; and 2) raise public awareness. Enough Is Enough will work with the South Carolina Office of the Attorney General, the SC ICAC Task Force, and local law enforcement agencies to meet the goal of this project. Enough Is Enough (EIE) is uniquely qualified to create internet safety programs, trainings, curriculum and supporting web-based and written form resources, as well as to implement supporting public awareness efforts.
