Description of original award (Fiscal Year 2022, $860,454)
The State of Georgia’s Criminal Justice Coordinating Council (CJCC) plans to expand substance use treatment programs in Family Treatment Drug Courts (FTDCs) by customizing treatment options to the needs of participants and their children in the court’s jurisdiction, while also providing standardize training for court. CJCC intends to maximize the award granted by ensuring evidence-based treatment options for all affected populations are available and accessible for each of the funded FTDCs. This initiative will be statewide expansion and the targeted population will be spread across Georgia’s various urbanicities, to include urban, rural, and suburban localities.
