The County of Madison is seeking to operate a Family Intervention Drug Court due to the rising number of families affected by opioid and methamphetamine in Madison County cases. Child Protection Services is currently the agency that provides social services to families in the justice system when children are adjudicated as abused or neglected. The Family Drug Intervention Court will provide Madison County the needed supervision, treatment and recovery support services that are currently non-existent.
