Enhancing Kalamazoo County Family Treatment Court (FTC)

The Judiciary Courts of the State of Michigan seeks to mitigate disparities in access and engagement through program expansion and enhancement elements. The program’s capacity will double in size from through hiring of a family treatment court (FTC) Peer Support Specialist/Recovery Coach. In addition, the inclusion of this position will assist the program in recruiting and retaining male FTC participants. The hiring of a full time Parent Coach will provide much-needed supervision for parenting time, as well as provide family counseling, and additional services for the children of parent/guardian participants.
