Nassau County Family Treatment Court

Nassau County will implement the Nassau County Family Treatment Court (NCFTC) for families impacted by the child welfare system with identified substance use disorder. By providing services included under Family Treatment Courts, Nassau County aims to enhance long term recovery and increase outcomes for families impacted by substance use. Utilizing enhanced community services, judicial supervision, and a multidisciplinary team, NCFTC will be able to provide expedited connections to substance use services, enhanced screening, and assessment.
