Schenectady County Family Treatment Court

The proposed project is to establish a new Family Treatment Court (FTC) in Schenectady County Family Court in Schenectady, New York.  This will be accomplished by providing a resource coordinator to oversee the program, a comprehensive evaluation, and the evidence-based parenting program "Strengthening Families".  The service area for this proposal is Schenectady County and its residents.  This project will benefit parents involved in Schenectady County Family Court with a petition of child neglect pending who have lost custody or are at great risk of losing custody of their children.
