Lehigh County OCYS

Lehigh County proposes to create a multidisciplinary Family-based Alternative Sentencing Team (FAST) comprised of representatives from the Office of District Attorney, Office of Public Defenders, Department of Corrections, The Office of Children and Youth Services, Juvenile Probation, as well as community based organizations with strong interests in improving the criminal justice and child welfare system, to provide evidence-based social service intervention strategies for participants. The FAST team will utilize an improved systems approach, expand service and treatment options, improve advocacy for parents and their children, and promote family and community safety.
