The Commitment to Success Program (CSP) will provide evidence-based, high fidelity, wraparound services and facilitate Child and Family Teams (CFT) for youth in detention and their families prior to, during, and following reentry into the community. The project aims to reduce both juvenile and adult recidivism among participating youth. Program services will address the youths’ most prevalent criminogenic risks and needs and comply with best practices in community reentry. Program staff will receive training in high fidelity Wraparound and CFT, to ensure these services are implemented and utilized effectively to address the unique needs of this predominantly high risk/needs population. Through collaborative long-term service offerings, program participants will receive targeted interventions designed to increase protective/prosocial factors, strengths, and coping mechanisms; reduce risk, recidivism, and criminogenic needs; address trauma and mental illness; and prevent or reduce substance abuse, risk-taking behavior, and family conflict.
