Upon completion of this training, you will be able to:

  • Construct, manage, and conduct effective search and canvass operations 
  • Identify and utilize information from cell phones and other technology-related evidence to aid in the child recovery and offender arrest
  • Recognize legal issues which may arise in missing children cases.
  • Apply information learned during the hands-on practical exercise

This training is designed for law enforcement and search personnel who have responsibilities for managing and conducting canvassing and search operations involving missing and abducted children cases.

Approval to attend this training is subject to the approval of the host agency as well as your qualifications submitted on your registration. 

Law enforcement and search personnel with responsibilities for conducting and managing search and/or canvassing operations involving missing or abducted children are strongly encouraged to attend.

The deadline to register is April 17, 2024.
