An Overview of Special Education Considerations: What Juvenile Court Prosecutors Need to Know

Focus of presentation is the child welfare to juvenile justice pipeline. Youth with or at risk for child welfare involvement are also at risk for juvenile justice involvement. Specific areas of risk and tools in federal law that can be used to support children and intervene on risk at school is discussed.
