Who should attend: The training is designed for all judges and judicial officers in Nevada who preside over delinquency proceedings. It will be held virtually.
This first-of-its-kind Institute is designed specifically for Nevada judges and judicial officers. The Institute will explore how the juvenile justice system can effectively hold youth accountable, project public safety, and help youth develop skills to lead a crime-free life.
Topics will include adolescent development, risk/need screening and assessment, effective case processing, judicial ethics, statutes, family engagement, and many others.
In addition, there will be opportunities to network with peers and discuss Nevada-specific approaches and issues.
