OJJDP will host "Combating Digital Hate, Part I: Open-Source Investigations" as part of OJJDP's Preventing Youth Hate Crimes & Identity-Based Bullying Initiative webinar series.

During the webinar, intended for law enforcement professionals, presenters will:

  • Discuss the rapidly evolving ecosystem of online social media and how people are changing how they choose to communicate.
  • Demonstrate free and inexpensive cyber-OSINT tools that criminal investigators and analysts can use to build a cyber-OSINT toolbox.
  • Discuss technical capabilities of collecting open-source information (does not cover the requisite legal requirements for agents of government to observe and collect that online open-source information).

Note: This webinar is for law enforcement only. Individuals not associated with law enforcement will not be allowed to attend the web event. Please complete event registration in its entirety.

The webinar series is supported by OJJDP's National Training and Technical Assistance Center (NTTAC). To obtain handouts and documents for this event, contact the OJJDP TTA Help Desk at [email protected] or by phone at 833–647–0513.
