OJJDP FY 2023 Family-Based Alternative Justice Program

This program seeks to build the capacity of states, communities, state and local courts, units of local government, and federally recognized Tribal governments to implement new, or enhance existing, diversion and alternative justice programs for parents in the criminal justice system to mitigate the harmful impacts of incarceration on children and their families to improve child, parent, and family outcomes.

OJJDP FY 2023 Strengthening ICAC Technological Investigative Capacity

With this solicitation, OJJDP seeks to provide funding for applicant organizations to increase the technological investigative capacity of ICAC task forces and their affiliates as well as related state, Tribal, and local law enforcement and prosecutorial agencies through training and the development and/or enhancement of widely used investigative tools, methods, and technologies that address child sexual abuse material and online child exploitation.

OJJDP seeks applications for funding to provide support to the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task force program. ICAC task forces work collaboratively as a national network of law enforcement and prosecutorial agencies that prevent, interdict, and investigate technology-facilitated child sexual exploitation and Internet crimes against children.

OJJDP FY 2023 Enhancing Youth Defense

The goal of this program is to implement youth defense delivery system enhancements that strengthen and improve youth defense. This program supports states and localities, through a combination of direct grants and national training and technical assistance, to implement sustainable system improvements that result in improved youth outcomes, reduced recidivism, safer communities, cost savings, and increased public confidence in the juvenile justice system.

OJJDP FY 2022 Title II Formula Grants Program

Pursuant to Title II, Part B, of the JJDP Act (34 U.S.C. §§ 11131–11133), to receive formula grants, states must submit a plan for carrying out Formula Grants Program activities applicable to a 3-year period. This announcement sets out the requirements for Year 2 of the 3-Year State Plan covering fiscal years 2021 to 2023.

OJJDP FY 2022 Arts Programs for Justice-Involved Youth

This solicitation will support high-quality arts programs for justice-involved youth to reduce juvenile delinquency, recidivism, and/or other problem and high-risk behaviors. Arts programs include but are not limited to painting, sculpting, drama, digital media, film, music, dance, singing, and creative writing.

OJJDP FY 2022 Enhancing School Capacity To Address Youth Violence

The program supports targeted efforts to address youth violence through implementing evidence-based prevention and intervention efforts in a school-based setting (K–12th grade only). The goals of the program are to: (1) reduce the incidence of school violence through improved school safety and climate and (2) prevent youth violence, delinquency, and victimization in the targeted community.
